Purchasing Associate (Procurement and Accounting)

Cooling Tower Superintendents / Supervisors

Careers, Construction Supervisors Superintendents Positions - Cooling Tower Services Seeking experienced cooling tower Superindentents/Supervisors in the construction and rebuilding of field-erected and factory-assembled cooling towers. Service area is throughout the Mid-Atlantic region including, but not limited to, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.  Extensive travel is required.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Manager project from start to finish
  • Familiar with both factory (metal towers) assembled and field erected (Wood, FRP, Concrete) cooling towers
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches and building specifications as directed by project manager
  • Ability to perform alignments and set mechanical equipment and knowledgeable of proper tolerances
  • Exhibit leadership qualities to safely and efficiently complete projects
  • Ability to multi-task and work with independlty without constant supervisosn and to demonstrate intiative after the completion of your task
  • Ability to listen well, follow instructions and make sure that directives are completed
  • Must be able to recognize hazards and know how to best abate the hazard according to the plant site specific safety requirements, OSHA and Cyrco, inc. standards
  • Must be first on site and last to leave
  • Must do a personal walk down of the site to be sure there are no loose ends or housekeeping clean up issues
  • Must be responsible for all equipment and vehicles

 

Certifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Able to pass drug test & hair follicle
  • Two year minimum Cooling Tower Technician experience
  • Ability to pass Safety Council training and all other training classes required per plant
  • Basic knowledge of construction safety guidelines (OSHA 10HR and preferred OSHA 30HR)
  • Work at heights of 60 feet
  • Working hours 40-70 hours per week and must be flexible to work weekend and holidays

Cooling Tower Field Technicians / Laborers

Careers, Construction Field Technicians and Laborers Positions - Cooling Tower ServicesSeeking experienced cooling tower field personnel in the construction and rebuilding of field-erected and factory-assembled cooling towers. Metal Fabricators

Careers, Welding and Metal Fabrication Positions - Cooling Tower ServicesCyrco, inc. is seeking experienced metal fabricators that specialize in stainless and galvanized steel fabrication. Applicants must have a solid background in working with sheet metal and knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance. Applicants must also have measurement and mathematical fractional/decimal conversion skills as well as ability to distinguish material type and gauge.

Essential Duties include:

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the safest and most efficient way to perform the job and set up machinery to produce quality parts
  • Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type
  • Set-up tooling, load programs and set up machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Make adjustment to accomplish production requirements
  • Determine condition of tools and that they are in a safe condition for use
  • Inspect and confirm accuracy of parts by using basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, radius gauges, fixtures, and calipers
  • Complete quality checklist for workstation
  • Maintain SS workstation
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures

 

Additional CNC Laser Machine specific duties include:

  • Produce sheet metal parts by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) Laser Machine.
  • Check accuracy of work using blueprint and precision measuring tools.
  • Inspect, clean, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on machines.
  • Continuously monitor machine cutting performance and efficiency, adjusting as needed.
  • Locate and move raw material with a pallet jack or forklift.

 

Must be able to lift 75 pounds throughout work day.
Must be able to pass drug screen, have transportation, and have a valid driver’s license.
Pay Scale based upon years of experience and capability.
Standard hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and some weekend work may be required.
