Rexnord® Addax® Coupling Assemblies (Driveshafts)

Rexnord offers Composite Coupling products to satisfy your long-span coupling needs. Composite floating shaft couplings are used in applications that require long separation between the driving and driven equipment, and where moisture, thermal expansion-contraction, and corrosive conditions would adversely affect the machinery. Such coupling arrangements are particularly suited to transmit power, accommodate misalignment, and span long distances without the use of intermediate steady bearings. Composite floating shaft couplings can also be applied to decrease coupling weight, and accommodate higher operating speeds in comparison to what can be achieved with conventional steel tube couplings.
